Shasta Dragons

Offerings

On the new moon in Gemini, I went out with a jar filled with cream and honey to feed the Nagas. Raylene has shared this practice with me, a ritual that I have been performing for the past few new moons. I usually ask on the inner planes where the Nagas wish to be fed. This time I received a message to go to the marshland in front of Marin General Hospital, because so many souls enter and exit there. It seemed appropriate. I ventured down a path surrounded by tall reeds. I walked out onto the firm mud to the water’s edge. As I bent down and prayed to the Naga Kings, I offered the milky elixir. As I began to pour, I had a thought form of what was about to happen. The cream merged with the surface of the water, which was fairly shallow and still. It began to form into an exquisite white dragon. It had eyes and mouth which were the tips of rocks jutting forth and a perfectly created body like those embroidered on silk kimonos.

It felt as if I was actually pouring the dragon out of the jar, while the intelligence and grace of the water welcomed this fabulous creature and the prayers, which bid it entry.

I am certainly humbled by the graciousness of these spirit beings and most honored to work with them.
